How Illegal Drugs Affect Teens

If you Start Drugs, it Will be the Beginning of the End  Drugs can take hold on somebody's life and they may never be the same again after addiction has controlled them in every way possible. This is especially true when somebody as young as a teenager begins to use drugs. So how can a concerned family member or friend tell if a loved one has a drug addiction? There are many warning signs that indicate drug use. There are physical signs like red eyes, develops rashes/scabs, involuntary shaking, dilated pupils, changes in weight, and bruises. Some behavioral signs/emotional signs are changes in sleeping/eating patterns, depression, anxiety, disappears for periods of time and refuses to talk about or lies about where they were, and financial problems.  There are plenty of ways to find help. The Power of Persuasion

Teenagers using alcohol has always been a concern, but if it has been a concern so long, why is it still an issue? How are teenagers still drink driving and abusing alcohol if so many people are aware of this problem? The answer maybe right in front of us, on our TV screens. Advertisers use their ads to appeal to younger people, especially people under 21. These ads often include people having a great time while drinking the alcohol, and all of the people are young and attractive. This causes teenagers to think that if they want to have fun, they need to drink. The pressure on teens to use alcohol is not only coming from the television, but there are many real life situations in which  teen might be pressured to drink. For example, if they are at a party, they will most likely be offered a drink.
